STUDENTS at Therfield School have achieved the mixed comprehensive's best ever year of GCSE results.
A total of 77 per cent of pupils gained five or more A* to C grades, the highest ever, according to figures released by the school.
Head teacher Susan Willman said: "We are delighted that the hard work of the students has been rewarded with these results, which also reflect the excellent teaching provided by the staff and the support offered by parents."
